Nature's Little Recyclers is a green tech recycling plant dedicated to diverting organic waste from the landfill and turning it into high quality soil. Our facility is located in Back of the Yards, a neighborhood in Chicago with a high green-tech focus. We take organic waste - such as coffee grounds, vegetables, and cardboard-from local businesses in Chicago and feed it to our worms, which are bred in sustainable conditions in our facility. As the worms eat, and recycle these materials, they create worm castings, which is rich in nutrients and free of chemicals, thus making it a great fertilizer for both conventional and organic plants.
By using this process Nature's Little Recyclers reduces the amount of waste going to landfills, greatly reduces the methane output from the waste, and provides high nutrient, and chemical free fertilizer.
Nature's Little Recyclers goal is nothing less then eliminating all organic waste from landfills, and turning it into high quality fertilizer to reduce our dependence on chemical fertilizers.
